' ANTIQUE HUBLEY ROYAL CIRCUS LION WAGON
Hubley introduced their Royal Circus line of cast iron toys in the early 1900's and by 1920 they had a full line of Royal Circus. This is their two team horse drawn lion circus wagon. This is the white one and it holds one lion. It measures 13" long and almost 6" tall. It's in all original condition, including the driver and lion. There is overall paint chipping as seen in the pictures, but cast iron is all intact. Wheels are secure and move freely, reins are missing. Back door slides up and out, and the lion and man are removable.

ANTIQUE BING PIGMYPHONE TOY PHONOGRAPH
Murphy, an antique Bing teddy bear, is not included in this sale, but he has to show off his Bing Pigmyphone. They were both made by the Bing Company of Nuremburg Germany at the turn of the century, Bing being one of the top toy manufacturers of its time, and this toy is an excellent example of Bing's quality. Called the 'Pigmyphone', the phonograph has a key wind clockwork mechanism to run the turntable. Key wind the mechanism, put the needle arm, turntable and megaphone on, and you're ready to go. Switch on the side turns it on with two different speeds. Bing made a Pigmyphone with a plain metal box, but this one has wonderful lithographs on three sides...Snow White's Seven Dwarf's, Little Red...

ANTIQUE CHILDS TOY PIANO
Bruno here is learning to play his antique toy piano. The piano is made of wood, painted green with pretty decoration on the front. The keys are also wood, hitting the keys plays the xylophone inside. The metal xylophone keys are rusty inside, but still play fine, with the exception of 3 keys which are not working. It measures 19" long, 8" wide and 13" tall. There is chipping and scratches to the paint and one hinge on the top has broken. Top still raises up good with one hinge and the top is a little warped. I don't see any markings as to maker.

ANTIQUE ERZGEBIRGE GERMAN NOAH'S ARK WOOD TOY
This antique Noah's Ark was made in Germany, probably in the Erzgebirge area, circa mid to late 19th century. It's all hand made of wood and includes 11 wood animals and Noah. It's all been hand painted, with stenciled windows and roof. The roof opens up to play and store the animals. The roof hinges are original cloth. Ark is in good condition, some darkening and loss of paint, but color is still quite vibrant. The animals are all hand made of wood, painted and in good condition, one leg and one tail are broken. The ark measures 8" long and 2" tall. A delightful early German toy.

ANTIQUE GERMAN WOOD PULL TOY
This wonderful antique wood pull toy is of German origin from the 19th century. When he is pulled along, his articulated arms pump his car and he moves to and fro. It measures approximately 9" long x 5" wide x 7" tall and is in excellent working condition. Wood is all nice and sturdy, however, the bugs have invaded over the years (there's none now for heavens sake!!!) with small holes throughout. There's much paint loss and the original pull string is missing. Love his big ears! Miss Prudence here loves to play with him.

ANTIQUE GIBBS WOOD HORSE & CART PULL TOY
This is an antique pull toy, great for any teddy to pull his little friends around in. I believe it was made by Gibbs around the turn of the century. The horse is made of wood with wonderfully detailed lithographs. His legs are metal and are attached to the wheels to move back and forth when pulled. The wagon is also wood with metal wheels. It's in good working condition. The horse has had some repair in the middle. I think it's some sort of paint over the lithograph, not an actual repair to the wood. Two slats have also been replaced on the wagon. Entire toy measures 14" long, horse alone is 7". I would guess this to be circa late 1800's, early 1900's.

ANTIQUE ROOSEVELT BEAR TIN TOY STRING RIDER
This is a great antique toy, originating in 1907. Depicting one of the Roosevelt Bears, Teddy B & Teddy G, this articulated tin toy is a string rider. The weight balances the wheels riding on a string or wire and as the wheels ride along, teddy's articulated arms and legs pump back and forth. It's in great condition with nice vibrant colors, great detail on Teddy's face. Some tarnishing to the metal, wheels are a little bent. Has its original weight and works great. It measures 7" long.

ANTIQUE SCHOENHUT 'ALPHIES' ABC PICTURE BLOCKS
This wonderful set of ABC picture blocks were made by the Schoenhut Co. They were shown in their 1916 catalog and called 'Alphies', also marked with a 1916 patent date. They are cut out shapes with wonderful whimsical lithograph pictures on both sides of the blocks. Picture corresponds with letter, including animals and people. This is a set of 13 blocks which I believe was the original complete set as there's letters and pictures on both sides. Blocks are in very good condition. Lithographs have worn edges, but are mostly intact. There are 4 blocks pictured that have partially torn labels, one is completely missing. They measures 5" tall x 2" wide. A rare find.

ANTIQUE SCHUCO TUMBLING MOUSE WIND UP TOY
This is Schuco's little tumbling mouse, produced by this German toy company in the 1930's. Wind up the little guy and he tumbles and tumbles with his arms going round and round. He's just a little guy, measuring 4" tall. He has felt clothing covered over tin, Schuco's trademark. He has wonderful facial detail with airbrush painting, floss embroidered nose and bead eyes. He has tumbled way too much over the years and has lost his felt hands, but he can still tumble away, working great. Key is not Schuco's original, but works fine. His clothes are in good condition with just a couple of small holes in the felt. A fine antique toy for any antique ted.

ANTIQUE WOOD WAGON CART RED PAINT
This little wagon cart is perfect bear size. It's made of wood with metal and hard rubber wheels. The cart measures 12 1/2" x 7 1/2" with the wheels extending out from there. The handle is another 22" long. The wagon has a couple of coats of paint, red and blue. The bottom of the wagon has a couple of large splits, but it's still sturdy. The handle also has a split on the underside where it's attached, which makes it a little wobbly. It's quite the adorable little cart, you can do all kinds of fun bear things with it.

ANTIQUE WOOD SCOOTER
Gwenevere just loves riding this antique wood scooter. It's actually a child's scooter, but Gwenevere is just about child size, so she thinks it's hers. The scooter is made of wood with some red pinstripe decoration. The front piece pivots on a hinge. It has a wood handle/steering and the wheels are wood with hard rubber. The handle has a crack, but it's still sturdy, as is the rest of the scooter. It measures 24" long and 23" tall.

ANTIQUE WOOD SLED RED PAINT
Just in time for winter fun and the holidays, this antique sled is soooo much fun to decorate with. Of course, teddy's claim it as their winter play time toy, and quite frankly they are so adorable on it. This 19th century antique sled is wood with metal curved runners. The runners are round, gives it a nice look over flat runners. The wood is painted red, red is very dull now and worn off on the edges. There are several splits in the wood, but has been reinforced underneath and is nice and sturdy. The wood supports on the bottom were nailed in and the nails go through the top, and then were bent over. This...

THE ROOSEVELT BEARS THEIR TRAVELS AND ADVENTURES BY SEYMOUR EATON
Ya gotta love those goofy Roosevelt Bears, Teddy B and Teddy G! If you're not familiar with Seymour Eaton's Roosevelt Bear books, you're in for a real treat. One of my favorite books, Seymour Eaton writes in rhyme form, with 18 stories of the crazy adventures of Teddy B and Teddy G. It's beautifully illustrated by V. Floyd Campbell with 16 full color illustrations and black and white illustrations on every single page, yes, every page. The book is 180 pages and is hardbound, 9" x 11". Published by Edward Stern & Co. in 1907.

VINTAGE DOG WIND UP TOY
This vintage Scottie dog is a wind up toy, made in Japan, probably from the 1950's. When winding his attached key he walks, actually kind of waddles, forward, pulling his bone up and down to his mouth, tail wagging and all. Very cute! He has fur covering the tin body, a plastic nose and tin eyes, ears and bone. There's also an on off switch on the bottom. He's in good working condition.

VINTAGE FISHER PRICE TINY TEDDY ZILO PULL TOY
This is a vintage pull toy, Tiny Teddy Zilo, made by Fisher Price in 1962. It's made of wood, wood wheels, and covered with adorable paper lithographs. Pull him along and he plays his zylophone, still working good. He's the smaller version of Teddy Zilo, measuring 6 1/4" long x 4 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" tall. Lithographs are in pretty good condition...a little loose in a couple of spots, a few creases, and a couple of missing spots on one arm. Barnaby here loves to pull around his Teddy Zilo.

VINTAGE TOY SMALL METAL RED WAGON
This vintage little red wagon is just perfect size for miniature teddy bears. It was probably made in the 1930's or 1940's, no maker marks. It's made of metal and painted red and black. Love the black fenders over the white hard rubber tires. The back axle is stationary, and the front one pivots back and forth. The handle also moves up and down. It's in good condition, some paint loss, but still pretty vibrant colors. The wagon without the handle measures 5" long and 3" wide. The little teds look so cute in it.
